RENTON, Wash., March 4, 2017 — Lightel® today announced that its new mini circulator is available.
Lightel now offers a miniature 1310nm or 1550nm three-port polarization insensitive fiber optic circulator. The size of the device has been reduced from the standard 50mm to 38mm without any degradation in optical performance. The unit features high isolation (50dB typical) with low insertion loss (≤0.6dB). Used in advanced fiber optic communication systems, sensor systems and optical amplifiers, this small-form factor device is ideal where space is a concern.
