RENTON, Wash., June 3, 2017 — Lightel® is pleased to announce a new family of Fiber Power Combiners.
Lightel announces a family of N×1 (N≤37) fiber pump combiners and (N+1)×1 (N≤36) fiber pump-signal combiners for high power fiber lasers and fiber amplifier applications. These devices enable optical power coupling from multiple pump sources into a single output fiber with high efficiency.
All Lightel power combiners are fused fiber devices, ensuring that reliable performance with superior pump efficiency and high power handling is maintained over a long lifetime. They are manufactured using our proprietary methods and developed on our Lightel workstations. The devices are offered in Polarization Maintaining (PM) and non-PM configurations, and different fiber types and fiber combinations are available.
