RENTON, Wash., December 15, 2017 — Lightel® Develops Inspector Adapter to Support POF and Large Core Fibers
Lightel has developed an adaptor for its DI-1000 which allows the user to view large core (up to 1mm) fiber optic connectors for medical, plastic optical fiber (POF), high power and other applications. The adapter supports all of Lightel’s Series 2 tips enabling the user to view large core fiber in virtually any termini type including SMA, FC, SC and others. This adapter also permits the viewing of a larger area of a traditional telecommunication connector.
