FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
RENTON, Wash., December 12, 2018 — Lightel® Develops Tip Guide for EPX Connectors
The EPX™ connector is a rectangular, modular and high density connection system commonly used in aircraft avionics systems and conforming to technical specification EN4644. EPX inserts support a wide variety of contact types including power, quadrax, signal and fiber optics. In order to facilitate the end face inspection of an all fiber optic EPX connector, Lightel has developed an EPX tip guide. The Lightel tip guide and companion tip allows the user to quickly inspect multi-channel EPX connectors and reduces accidental ferrule breakage.
EPX™ is a trademark of Radiall.
