RENTON, Wash., March 4, 2018 — Lightel® Offers Mini Circulator
Fiber optic circulators are three-port devices that permit light to travel in only one direction. A signal entering port 1 will exit Port 2 while a signal entering Port 2 will exit Port 3 with minimal loss. For those applications requiring minimal space, Lightel has reduced the form factor of our optical circulator to 5.5mm(Φ) x 38mm(L) while still maintaining the same performance as that of our standard 5.5mm(Φ) x 50mm(L) device. Used in fiber sensors, fiber lasers, transmission systems and other applications, these mini-circulators offer low backreflection and insertion loss and high isolation.
